Washing your clothes in cold water just makes cents! Actually it saves cents but makes sense and I'm here to tell you why. The first and most important reason to wash your clothes in cold water is that it's going to save you money. Your hot water heater doesn't run for free after all. It doesn't matter if yours is running off electricity or gas you'll be saving money by not heating up the water to do laundry. Not only will you save some of your hard earned cash you'll be saving the life of your clothes. Hot water can not only set stains you might have gotten it can also shrink your clothing. Lastly the dye in your clothing will fade faster if you are using a warm water wash. We all pay enough for clothing these days so we want them to last as long as possible, washing in cold water can help with that.
